Temp Management

The DIY engine jacket kit comes with everything you need to build your own custom engine jacket.  We supply the engine jacket material, grommet kit, zip ties, ball bungees for oil change area, and video tutorial for you to use as a guideline to create your own engine cover. See the pictures for what you can create with this kit.

This snow bike engine blanket is a good option for those of you who might have a hard time finding a pre made option, or are not satisfied like we were with the pre made options.

We have two options for material, one that is lighter and easier to work with, and another that is heavier duty.  They both do well, and the heavier duty may last a season or two longer.

Shielding your motor from the snow significantly helps in obtaining closer to optimal running temps for your bike to run in winter mountain conditions.  The jacket is one part of the engine temp management system along with a thermostat, and radiator block offs. We include a large piece of fire retardant engine jacket material, and all needed supplies to make a custom engine jacket for your dirtbike.

Please Note: Engine jackets need to be trimmed to not interfere with your exhaust, or your particular bike configuration around a minimum of 2″ clearance. Install at your own risk.
