HD 4-bolt version! By the time you get the aluminum dock and protector cage on your Trail Tech Voyager Pro (which, let’s be honest, is THE way to run the Voyager Pro), it’s a decent bit of weight, which is a tall order for the original 2-bolt design. The new HD style is highly recommended in most applications, to give you peace of mind to take more abuse.
- HD (4-bolt) – recommended for all “permanent” mounted offroad/motorcycle/automotive GPS units, such as Trail Tech Voyager Pro, Garmin Montana, or similar.
- Original (2-bolt) – recommended for small, lightweight handheld GPS units only, for example Garmin eTrex (though not all docks for those style of units use AMPS bolt pattern, please verify before purchasing)
