Cascade Snow Bike is hosting the 1st Annual Snow Bike Film Festival and Trax 4 Premiere in at McMenamins in Bend, Oregon Thursday November 8th. The idea behind the film festival was to create an event to bring people interested in snow biking together to see what people in other areas are getting up to on these amazing snow machines.
Back in July we put out a request for submissions, and slowly they started to roll in. British Columbia, Russia, Japan, New Zealand, California, Portland, Nevada, Oregon all have come through with snow bike edits, and we have a couple enduro and single track edits to add to the mix, 10 in total. Each edit is unique in the terrain, and riding style, and gives an awesome overview of what the snowbike space looks like right now. After the Film Fest submissions we will be showing a viewing of Trax 4, which features some of the best riders in the snowbike industry at the moment.
We chose a local venue call McMenamins Old St. Francis. It boasts an eclectic theater space along with multiple bars and outdoor fire pits, a hotel, and the spoiler – a heated mineral soaking pool. The place is awesome.
Tickets are on sale at The Motoshop / MotoTerre, Pro Caliber Bend, and Cascade Motorsports all in Bend. We are expecting a close to full house of 100 folks, so be sure to grab your tickets at one of the places above because there might not be any available at the door!
Along with all the awesome snowbike and moto entries, we will be hosting a raffle from our really great sponsors who support the sport of snow biking, and moto.
